Amsterdam Multidisciplinary Interventional Oncology Symposium
25-26 October 2018, EYE Filmmuseum
Amsterdam, the Netherlands

The Amsterdam Multidisciplinary Interventional Oncology Symposium (AMIOS 2018) is a multidisciplinary conference which offers participants a complete review of the latest developments in minimally invasive locoregional treatment options for a variety of oncological diseases. Several of the world’s greatest experts will offer an innovative look on the oncological challenges medical practitioners deal with. Through a multidisciplinary approach, AMIOS will cross-pollinate knowledge from engineers, researchers and physicians from various disciplines, reaching the high level of education which is needed to fight off cancer.

In two days, participants will get the latest advancements in image-guided interventional oncology, such as irreversible electroporation (NanoKnife), radiofrequency ablation, microwave ablation, MR guided stereotactic ablative body radiotherapy, trans-arterial chemo- and radioembolisation. Furthermore, a variety of oncological diseases and their treatment options will be discussed in interactive and innovative presentations and discussion boards. Think of colorectal liver metastases, hepatocellular carcinoma, pancreatic cancer, lung cancer, renal and prostate carcinoma and others.
